5. Equipment, Damage, and Liability

Equipment Provided:
JS DJ provides all necessary DJ equipment for some events. However, for other events, the client may be responsible for providing their own equipment.

Client Responsibility:
Clients are responsible for ensuring that our equipment is used safely and properly. If our equipment is damaged, lost, or stolen as a result of negligence or mishandling by the client or their guests, the client will be liable for the cost of repair or replacement.

Liability Insurance:
JS DJ holds liability insurance covering up to £5 million for incidents that may occur during an event. However, JS DJ is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage to persons or property. By booking our services or attending an event, you accept full responsibility for any risks associated with the event.

Venue Requirements:
The venue hosting the event must have its own liability insurance and building insurance. The venue must also hold a valid music license to legally play music, as required under UK law. It is the responsibility of the client to ensure these requirements are met prior to the event.

6. Client Responsibilities

Health and Safety:
Clients must ensure that the event space is safe and accessible for our staff. There must be adequate space for equipment setup and a clear, safe working area for staff.

Conduct and Behavior:
JS DJ expects all clients and event attendees to behave in a respectful and professional manner. Any violent, abusive, or disruptive behavior toward JS DJ staff, event participants, or other guests will result in the immediate cessation of the event, and no refund will be issued. Clients are responsible for their guests’ actions.

7. Force Majeure

JS DJ shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform its obligations under these Terms due to causes beyond our reasonable control, including, but not limited to, acts of God, war, terrorism, strikes, pandemics, or government restrictions.

In the event of Force Majeure, JS DJ may still offer a refund or exchange of tickets at our discretion, subject to the specific circumstances.

8. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless JS DJ, its staff, and affiliates, from any claim, damage, liability, or expense (including legal fees) arising from your actions or negligence during the event, or from any claim made by a third party related to your event.
